ENERGY STORAGE CAPACITORS

Product Information:

These are available in a range of energy levels up to 100kJ per capacitor. Designs can be prepared for high repetition or single shot duty from 100 to 1 million shots. All designs are tailored to customer specification.

These capacitors are manufactured to withstand substantial internal energy forces associated with severe discharge duty and in consequence are usually supplied in heavy gauge mild steel or stainless steel containers for high power units, or aluminium alloy for relatively low power outputs.

Applications:

These capacitors are most frequently used in research laboratory environments (particle physics and plasma research), in laser range finder equipment or pulsed laser discharge, seismic power supplies, defribulators, flash lamps, lithotriptors, industrial and aviation turbine ignition.
